A Spy Amongst The Ranks Of The World’s Greatest Copywriters

Grimsby to Paris!

It’s not the most common journey, is it?

Right now, I’m in a Starbucks in Grimsby’s very quiet shopping precinct.

Tonight though, I’m back to London and then it’s the Eurostar to Paris.

You see, later this week I’m visiting Bill Bonner’s chateau in Normandy to get together with some of the best copywriters in the world.

"Start your own online business without spending a single penny!"

In a series of free step-by-step videos, business opportunities expert Glenn Fisher shows you how to build an online business from scratch at no cost.

I respect your privacy and will never pass on your email address to anyone else.

Bill’ll be there. So too will John Forde. A great copywriter I’ve often told you about in Shortcut.

There’ll be copywriting pros from France, Germany, South Africa, heck, all over the world.

But most importantly there’ll be an absolute stampede of ideas.

And that, dear reader, is exactly what we’re interested in…

Being my sneaky self and always looking to share with you new ways to further your own business skills, I’ll be blatantly stealing their ideas and giving them to you.

Hurrah!

Call me the Robin Hood of information publishing.

The James Bond of business opportunities!

Maybe not. Anyway…

I’ve been thinking about it and I’m going to do it in two ways.

First, I’m going to be taking a lot of notes and maybe I’ll even sneak a tape recorder in there. When I’m back in London, I’ll write it all up into a guide you can download for free and read at your leisure.

Not bad, right?

But something else is on my mind and I think this is the perfect opportunity for it…

You see, a while back I set up a Twitter account. You’ll have no doubt heard of the social networking site. And some of you may indeed already be following me and ‘tweeting’ yourself.

Over the past few weeks I’ve neglected my twittering. In fact, the whole concept of using twitter as more than just a social tool is something I’m still undecided on.

There are some good points about it.

In fact, in this month’s issue of Shortcut Confidential, Stefan Kaday, reveals his top three twitter tools.

But there are some bad points too. Points I think a lot of people in the business are pretending don’t exist.

Anyway, I’ll be sharing my ideas on that more thoroughly in the future. But one thing Twitter is good for is as a genuine real-time communication tool.

So while I’m in France, I’m going to keep in touch with as-it-happens tweets. France is only an hour ahead so it should work out.

Basically, as soon as I hear a great piece of advice or a great thought, I’ll tweet. And as well as that, I might even be able to drop in a few ‘insider’ tweets so you can see what’s going on behind the scenes.

So, if you’re not already following me on Twitter you can do so by clicking here and following the instructions to create an account (It’s free by the way) – Glenn Fisher on Twitter

OK. I’ve got a fair bit to sort out before my trip, so I’ll make a move.

I’ll be in touch as normal tomorrow and I’ll start tweeting again today.

One final thought, though…

What do the French call Twitter?

Le Twit, maybe?
